Samuel Lawit was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. After high school, Sam worked in the largest immigration law firm in New Mexico as a legal assistant. He also worked as an events coordinator for a local non-profit, New Mexico Extreme Sports. During this time there, Sam organized sporting events including New Mexico Ski Swap, Mountain Dew Dew Tour, Red Bull, and other ski and skate competitions. Growing up Sam and his family spent spare time snowboarding, camping, and hiking in New Mexico, Colorado, and Wyoming. He knew early on that Colorado was his home. In 2011 the appeal of the mountains and world class snowboarding brought Sam to Colorado. He spent a short time in Durango before relocating to Black Hawk and becoming a casino dealer.
Sam has been licensed in real estate since 2015. He was inspired when he saw how difficult it was for his family to sell his childhood home in Albuquerque. The family worked with some bad agents before finally being able to sell their home, which inspired Sam to always strive to provide top-level service to his clients. He found the process to be incredibly interesting and decided then and there he wanted to help people navigate through the largest transactions of their lives. Sam loves helping others make the dream of living in Colorado a reality.
Sam primarily works with buyers. He is passionate about advising them and negotiating for them in this very competitive market. He believes there is no better feeling than winning a competitive offer for his clients. Sam is a member of the Downing Street Group serving the Denver market . He joined the group because of the high expectations the group has for its agents and because of the strong team comradery. Downing Street Groups strives to give the best service in the industry. They eat, sleep, and breathe education in order to better assist their clients. Sam is proud to be part of such a group.
Sam loved the Denver area for the healthy lifestyle, proximity to world class alpine sports and wilderness, along with the excitement of the Denver urban culture. In the summer he can be found hiking with his girlfriend and dogs. Hiking is, after all, one of the best parts of living in Colorado. Sam is also a student pilot and enjoys getting yet another unique view of this beautiful state. In his spare time, Sam enjoys spending as much time outside as possible with family, reading, and photography.
